Journal of Thoughts

Do you have a “thought” journal? I started a “thought journal” a couple of years ago.  There is no system to follow, and I don’t write in it everyday, but I do write down dreams, quotes, ideas, and thoughts. This journal is where the title for my first book, Broken Warrior, and its chapters were born, as well as the very first thoughts for Choose to Soar Ministries.

Reflecting back and reading this journal has been a great exercise for me and helps me remember some important guidelines as the ministry develops, and as I develop into the woman God wants me to be.

Here are few examples:

-Always ask if what we , as an organization, are doing will make us internally healthy and externally focused.

-If I was forced to say one last thing to the world, what would it be?

-How can I bless others who interact with me?

-People under God’s direction can accomplish impossible tasks.

-Leading and laughing, yes, you can do both.

-Money changes people.

-Shouldn’t I ask the Lord what I can do to show Him I love Him?

-Jesus was an action man.

-Pain is supposed to move us to do something. But sometimes people get stuck in a type of misery in which they are prone more to inaction than action.

-Deadlines focus energy like a laser.

-I live for an Audience of One.

-You do your part, have faith, and tomorrow will take care of itself. But remember, for the right tomorrow to come, some parts of today may have to come to a necessary ending.

You might want to try this type of journal.  I have found it very rewarding and continually learn more and more about myself.  Reflecting means learning.

Praising Him!
