The Journey

This past weekend, the Choose To Soar team was in Hawkins Texas. Summit Heights Fellowship Church, hosted our Bible Communicator training.  We have spent months planning, preparing, praying, and praising for this event.

I don’t know which was more fulfilling, all the planning for the event, or the event itself.  The goal always seems to be the destination, but it is in the journey where we learn the most.

I don’t want to miss one day of the journey, and I know you don’t either. One thing we all have in common, as Christians, is to share about God, who He is and what He has done for each of us.  Choose to Soar desire is for everyone to want to have an ignited faith and want to know how to communicate God’s Word with impact. Not communicating with a formula, but by using the Gifts God has given you and using them the way He has uniquely designed you.   I wrote a little “ditty” to help you understand.

Whether you are a Teacher, Preacher, Missionary or Mom,
Doctor, Lawyer, or your just dressing for the prom,

A Mentor, Coach, Counselor, or friend,
People need to know the Greatest Story and know how it ends.

So, maybe you are a singer, dancer, or writer of books,
A seamstress, decorator, or a great cook.

Engineer, scientist, or you play in a band,
Use the gifts you been given, and use them for the Kingdom the best that you can.

So Talk about God, talk about His Word, and don’t ever let it bore,
Cause, He wants you to Praise Him, share about Him, and Choose to Soar.

Thank you Summit Heights Fellowship for preparing the soil for His seed to be planted!

Praising Him!
